DeAnne “Dee Dee” Calhoon received her undergraduate degree from Faulkner University and her law degree from Jones School of Law. Prior to establishing her own firm, she worked for the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office (MDAL) for nearly twelve years. Dee Dee has over 20 years of legal experience in domestic relations, civil, and criminal matters.
Dee Dee is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and is a certified Mediator for Domestic Relations and Civil cases. She is active in her community currently serving as Vice Chair for the River Region Pregnancy Center Board of Directors and Secretary for the Autauga Interfaith Care Center (AICC) Board of Directors.
Dee Dee has been married to her husband Troy Calhoon, a Prattville firefighter, for nearly 27 years and they have four children and two grandchildren. Dee Dee and her family have lived in Prattville since 2001 after moving from Andalusia, Alabama for her to attend law school.
Dee Dee’s judicial philosophy is focused on fairness, impartiality, and unbiased access to justice which stems from her Christian faith. She firmly believes that every individual who enters the courtroom deserves to be heard and treated with respect, regardless of their background or circumstances. She is committed to applying the law faithfully and making well-reasoned decisions based on the evidence and legal principles at hand. She will approach each case with an open mind, ensuring that justice is served for all parties involved in Autauga, Elmore, and Chilton counties.
